About Charlotte Reed

Seven years ago, Charlotte Reed abandoned the corporate life and opened Two Dogs & A Goat. Her mission was to become Manhattan's only full-service pet care provider.

Reed built her company with top-notch services, personalized attention and an abundant passion for pets. Today, Two Dogs & A Goat has offices in New York City and the Hamptons. Highly recommended by local vets, its 35 pet care providers service more than 250 loyal clients and their pets.

Over the years, Reed has supplemented her love for animals with skills learned at City University of New York (CUNY), New York School of Grooming and the University of South Hampton New College (Great Britain). In 1998, she was one of six students accepted for the prestigious biannual ASPCA Companion Animal Service Department's Apprentice Dog Training Program.

Charlotte Reed's pet expertise has made her in demand in the media. She has appeared as a guest on national and international television and radio:BBC-1: Comedy Central; CNN; Good Day New York,;Fox 5 Live at Noon; Fox Network's Pet News; Today in New York; Telemundo; Animal Watch; Fujisankei Mezamashi-TV; Office Kei Productions; as well as Clear Channel and National Public Radio affiliates.
Charlotte is pet columnist for the new American Magazine and the New York City weekly, The Resident. She serves as the editor-in-chief of citipets.com, an online pet information, services and products guide as well as the Napps Network, the National Association of Professional Pet Sitters (NAPPS) quarterly newsletter. Author credits include 137 Citipets Tips for Finding & Relocating to a New Home, part of her "Pet-Owning Made Easy" series. In past years, she worked also New York contributing pet's editor at citysearch.com.

Named "Pet Sitter of the Millennium Year" by NAPPS, Reed was the fifth inductee in their Hall of Fame. Recently, she was elected to the organization's board of directors. She also currently serves as the Public Member of the New York State Veterinary Board, which oversees licensure of and disciplinary actions against veterinarians and veterinary technicians.
